Corporate / Production Accountant

We’re looking for a Corporate / Production Accountant to join Brat! You will work with the Finance and Production teams to maintain Brat’s books as well as manage the finances on our productions. Working from our Los Angeles headquarters, you’ll collaborate with colleagues in our numerous office locations.

In this role, you will:

Maintain the day-to-day accounting functions, accruals, financial statements, and perform production and post-production accounting duties

  • Maintain general ledgers

  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and journal entries

  • Assist with the annual budget and year-end review process

  • Perform production and post production accounting duties including review of

    payroll edits, expense tracking, and cutting AP checks

  • Field queries related to active productions


  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping / accounting

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting

  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, highly-organized and able to prioritize multiple


  • Highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Mastery of Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks and other accounting software

  • Preferred experience in the entertainment industry

  • Direct experience with Film/TV production accounting is a major plus
