Grayson Kilpatrick: The 411

Grayson-Kilpatrick.jpg

We sat down with Grayson Kilpatrick and got to know the boy behind Chicken Girls' Sheldon. Here's what we learned:

Grayson, you play Sheldon on Chicken Girls: The Movie, what was your favorite scene to shoot and why?

La cucaracha scene. Need I say more? It was hard not to smile. Senior Singer was a lot of fun to act with. I didn’t even realize he was on Zac and Cody until after we filmed, which was crazy because I'm a big fan of that show. He played that guy with a crazy name, Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoya De la Rosa Ramirez! I grew up watching The Disney Channel, now I'm mostly into video games.

What's your favorite video game?

Rainbow 6. It's based on a Tom Clancy book.

What do you love about being on set?

The people I get to meet. Everyone is trying their best, which is cool to be around.

How did you get into acting?

There's an actor in Diary of a Wimpy Kid named Grayson Russel. He's from Clanton, Alabama, and one day he came to my town (Hunstville, Alabama) to do a signing event. I went to the event and when I met him we realized we had a lot in common. We both are named Grayson, both have red hair, both from Alabama. He invited me to the set of Space Warriors, and his acting coach took an interest in me. So we moved to Los Angeles, and the rest is history.

What do you hate about being on set?

Lunch is too late in the day.

Who is a figure from history who you admire?

Chris Farley.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

One of two places: sitting at a chair doing engineering stuff, or out and about going on auditions. Hopefully I'll be rich and able to afford the 33x33 Rubik's cube. It's gigantic and costs about $28,000.00. It's more expensive then the car I want.

What's the car you want?

1971 Transam, white with a blue stripe down the side.

What is your very favorite thing to do when you’re not on set or working?

Playing video games, solving Rubik's cubes, and watching videos on YouTube.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

One of three places: Iceland, Japan, or France.

What's your favorite show currently?

Cloak and Dagger, Thursday at 8PM. Hey ABC, what's up?

Who is a celebrity that you were excited to meet?

Shia Labeuf, Mark Wahlberg, Kate Mara, and Will Ferrell. I'd love to meet Robert Downy Jr. or Mark Hamill.

If you could be someone else for a day who would it be and why?

Robert Downey Jr. because he's the highest paid actor.

Before we wrap up, can you tell us one last fun fact about yourself?

Im one of the hardest people to embarrass. You pretty much can't embarrass me!
