Kyla-Drew plays the formidable Tiffany St. Martin (of the Upper East Side St. Martins) in Crown Lake. Scroll for everything you need to know about the actress behind your new favorite mean girl:

What scene--not counting anything from Crown Lake--has been your favorite to film?

My favorite scene I’ve ever filmed would be on the ABC show Station 19. I crashed an RV into the fire station, and when I got out of the car all the cast was looking at me and I said, “I’m sorry.” HAHAHAH it was the absolute best!!!

How did you get into acting?

I knew I wanted to be in the entertainment industry at the age of four. I wanted to be a triple threat: singing, dancing, and acting. I started as a competitive dancer, I loved performing on stage and entertaining people. By the time I was six, my mom submitted my headshot to a talent agency in Atlanta. I met with them, they signed me then immediately started submitting me for auditions. After continuously working in Atlanta, I signed with a Los Angeles agency and they felt it was time for me to relocate to LA.

What do you love about being on set?

I love the atmosphere and the positive energy of all the cast and crew.

What do you hate about being on set?

I strongly dislike all the breaks. I go to set to work not to relax! The longer the break, the later I get home. I’d much rather get all the work completed in a timely manner then we all go and have fun!

What’s your middle name?

I don’t have a middle name. My first name is Kyla-Drew and my last name is Simmons.

Who is a figure from history that you admire/look up to?

Michelle Obama. She’s made history by being the first African American First Lady and continues to make a differenece today. She’s an advocate for healthy living and encourages the need for higher education in her charity, Better Make Room. She inspires young women across the world by leading by example.

If you could be another character on a Brat show who would it be, and why?

Why be another character, when I can be Tiffany St. Martin? 😉  She is beautiful, popular, affluent, smart, and witty.  Everyone loves to hate her. Everyone wants to play a character like Tiffany St. Martin.

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

In the future, I hope to become an accomplished Oscar nominated/winning actress, successful entrepreneur, and college graduate!!

What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not on set or working?

I love to play video games and taking dance classes! Currently, Fortnite is my favorite. I have been playing the game for over a year now. I’m learning to play Apex, but I’m not very good yet...lol.  Add me on Xbox, Twitch, and Mixer @assassinkylita!!

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be, and why?

Fiji Islands or Turks and Caicos. I’ve always lived in metropolitan areas; I would love to experience the island way of life for awhile.

What’s your favorite TV show of all time?

Game of Thrones

What’s your favorite 90s TV show?

Friends and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.  I find myself watching those shows weekly.

What’s your favorite movie of all time?

My favorite movie of all time would be the Color Purple

What’s your favorite book of all time?

As of right now, my favorite book of all time is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?

The most embarrassing this that’s ever happened to me would be throwing up on set my very first day working on Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn.

What is your favorite YouTube video that you’ve posted?

My favorite YouTube video I’ve ever posted would be my first stay at the hospital. At the age of four, I was diagnosed with asthma and hospitalized numerous times. The strange thing was, with my high tolerance to pain, I could be having a full-blown asthma attack and still act like my normal, bubbly self! My mom had recorded some videos of me in the hospital and I uploaded them on YouTube!!

If you could be a 90s icon for a day who would it be and why?

Janet Jackson. The 90s is when her career really peaked, and she began getting recognition as Janet Jackson “the artist” not Janet Jackson “Michael Jackson’s sister”.  Over the years I have watched all her videos and her talent is just breathtaking.

What’s one thing you couldn’t live without.

I couldn’t live without my camera; I love taking pictures to save memories.

Haagen Dazs Brownie A La Mode. YUMMMM!

What’s your favorite ride at Disneyland?

My favorite ride at Disneyland would have to be Space Mountain. I want to go to college and major in something revolving around aerospace, I love the ride because it feels like you’re going into space.

Before we wrap up, can you tell us one last fun fact about yourself?

I’m graduating high school this June at the age of 15! Another fun fact about myself is that I am bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English) and learning ASL!
